Nestles five miles southwest of Carbondale and along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, Woodland Cabins is perched at the edge of the Southern Illinois’s rolling hills and the Shawnee National Forest.  Our property spans 44 acres, offering a serene blend of mature woods and open fields.  Guests can enjoy luxury accommodations with ample privacy, a three-acre pond perfect for fishing, and scenic strolls along the dam.  Our woods and fields are ideal for exploration and leisurely walks with abundant wildlife and birdwatching opportunities.  Frequent visitors include deer, wild turkeys, red foxes, pileated woodpeckers, song birds and migrating waterfowl.  If you’re fortunate, you might even spot “Fraidy,” the elusive bobcat. 

We offer romantic retreats in our studio cabins and perfect getaways for small families in our new one-bedroom cabins.  Each accommodation provides a private deck with a hot tub, ideal for soaking in the tranquility and inspiring relaxation and romance.  Woodland Cabins is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and create lasting memories with your loved ones. 

Amenities:

Each cabin is equipped with a private outdoor hot tub, a gas log fireplace, flat screen HD TV’s featuring basic DirecTV satellite package and ability to stream your favorite movie or TV show via ROKU, and an outdoor fire pit with firewood. Towels, linens, and hair dryers are also provided.

The cabins include full kitchens with all the appliances, utensils, and pots and pans you need to make your stay a home away from home, as well as a gas barbecue grill. Complimentary coffee, creamer and sugar, salt and pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags are also provided.

All cabins have access to the lake.
